At The Whisper Gallery, we bask in the glory of something done well, made well, said well and sung well. At The Whisper Gallery Book Club, nothing fills our hearts to bursting more than a beautiful book. Beautiful to look at, a balm to the senses or beautiful to read. Or both. Lighting, highlighting and enlightening, a good book gives forever, like a continual ray of sunshine. Except it’s your own personal ray of sunshine and it can shine on you for your whole life.

The Mythical Mediterranean. Where to get lost, in style and comfort.
The Mediterranean is surrounded by three continents – Europe, Africa and Asia – and even though the cultures around this sea are highly diverse, they harmoniously share a pleasant climate, distinctive flora and fauna, and not least the intense blue of the water.
Angelika Taschen set out in search of the most beautiful hotels on a great variety of coasts, islands and beaches, taking you on a journey to the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and the ultra-chic Les Roches Rouges on the Côte d’Azur, to the little-known Pardini’s Hermitage on the Italian island of Giglio, which is only accessible by boat or on foot, and to Bodrum in Turkey, where the elegant Amanruya resort lies hidden in one of the most stunning bays in the Mediterranean. She also presents new hotel concepts, great architecture and creative design – for example the finca Menorca Experimental on the Balearic Islands, the modernist Villa Dubrovnik in Croatia and Dexamenes on the Peloponnese, where new life was breathed into decommissioned wine tanks.

The golds, greys, duns and muddy umbers. The creams and glimpses of blue and turquoise that are no more than a promise. These colours are so redolent of our uplands and moorlands that you can almost hear the loud hush of wind as it blows through reeds and shakes the tufts and tussocks. This whole landscape is summed up simply and elegantly in a square of exquisite and gorgeous silk. It’s our moorland scarf.
Our studio near the upper reaches of the River Thames is surrounded by beautiful moorland that changes mood with the season and the climate and even the half hour, glowering one moment, gentle and benign the next. But never ever dull. The colours are inspirational in so many ways. The mixed media piece used on our new “moorland” collection was painted on gypsum to create a chalky palette of autumnal hues. The textures from the original piece which include fine carved lines, are greatly magnified and create wonderfully abstract detail on a large scale. Can prints be poetic? We think so.
Both packing and postage is included in the price shown. Always original, these limited editions are feather light wearable art. READ MORE→

Gold & Rubies Eternity Ring. Samuel Waterhouse’s Collection is redefining jewellery and silverware design. Based in London, designer Samuel Waterhouse is inspired by antiquity. He aims to create simple yet contemporary jewellery and silverware. He attempts to retain a minimalistic aesthetic in all his work in order that beauty can stem mainly from the surface and colour of the materials used.
This unique object captures the essence of the great artists of the Renaissance period who started off their careers in goldsmith workshops learning about the accuracy of line and clarity of style. As a goldsmith, Samuel is becoming a master of specialist techniques and the influence of the classical tradition is abundant.
