“… to clap the net over the butterfly of moment. For the moment passes, it is forgotten; the mood is gone” wrote Vita Sackville-West. My subject can be anything that has caught my eye, but urban environment and people attract me the most. Watercolour and ink on paper are my usual choices for sketching and I always carry it with me. During the lockdown Zoom communication has become a new life, it also opened opportunities to be in a new situations. “Drawing Cabaret Couture” have created new and often surreal environments, and I love to dive in and capture those moments. To me it’s not so much depicting the particular fashion design, but what that moment evokes.”
