From the laundry room in Shropshire where it all began to the elaborate sets in Arena Design Centre in London. To celebrate Drawing Cabaret Couture have selected 15 artists to exhibit an original artwork created within 52 consecutive weeks of Drawing Cabaret Couture drawing classes during the 2020/21 lockdown.
The Celebration will be held via the platform which made all of this possible – ZOOM. The Whisper Gallery in collaboration with Drawing Cabaret Couture is launching an online Viewing Room
See the work of selected artists chosen from Drawing Cabaret Couture’s immersive online art classes. It is inspired by luminaries such as Klimt, Degas and Alexander McQueen.
The Private Viewing (zoom meeting) room will act as our online connection with all attendees throughout the entire experience. With another web browser open simultaneously for the Whisper Gallery’s viewing room containing the exhibition. Once the opening of the gallery is launched, we can all stay in communication (via zoom room) as we make our way around the virtual gallery space.
The initial meeting room mentioned above will tie into the countdown & opening of Whisper Gallery viewing room, going live via Zoom with a celebratory live performance from the high fashion Cabaret duo J’adore la Vie, as well as a talk with the featured artists about their works created and their experience as an artist through the lockdown, hosted by the founders of Drawing Cabaret Couture.
