“I created this illustration in the amazing Egon Schiele themed drawing class. Wanting to capture designs by Robesylphyde and the amazing shoes by Natacha Marrow, whilst channeling an artist whose drawings I admire so much. I chose watercolour and ink to work fast and freely to capture Janet who was creating poses that transported the viewer into a Schiele painting. I remember being so excited to draw Janet’s flame coloured hair which worked so well with Matthew’s beautiful set design. I added the cat because my cat kept trying to walk across my keyboard whilst I was drawing!”
