Shape and colours (bold but simplistic) are often my focus of attention when it comes to drawing. Especially cadmium red and black together, which is my favourite combination. I am drawn towards elegant and strong graphical elements in a pose. My goal of drawing is to find the balance between energy, spontaneity and accuracy. The secret, I believe for me, to find that balance is to know how much I should not put on the paper. “Overdoing-it” has always been a weakness of mine.
