Marit Geraldine Bostad Inner Source is inspired by memories and people, whose essence she intuitively attempts to preserve on the canvas. As an Abstract Colourist Marit Geraldine incorporates layer upon layer of acrylic paint. Her canvases are imbued with a fresh, youthful approach: one of positivity, reinforced by an invigorating colour palette.

Inner Source was inspired by her ESKFF residency in New York. “Unlearning, reprogramming – and getting lost in something outside of our comfort zone –that is the only way to truly see things differently.”

Marit Geraldine Bostad lives and works in Horten Vestfold County, Norway. She works from a studio based in a disused naval base, surrounded by the natural world and historic buildings.
