Keith Haring: Pop Art for the People

Keith Haring was an American artist who is best known for his bold, colourful, and often political work. He began his career as a graffiti artist in the early 1980s, and quickly gained a following for his unique style. Haring’s work often featured simple, repetitive figures, such as stick figures, dogs, and babies. He also used his work to raise awareness of social issues such as AIDS and homelessness.

Art is for everybody.”  Keith Haring

Haring’s work is still popular today, and his iconic images can be found on everything from T-shirts to coffee mugs. He is considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century, and his work continues to inspire people all over the world.
